Do the hooks need any special care?
How does the damage warranty work?
The warranty against accidental damage has no expiration date. However, it is good for one replacement only. When purchasing a Furls hook, please keep your receipt as proof of purchase as this will be required for any breakage claim.
Why so Furls cost more than other hooks? Are prices shown for a full set of hooks?
Hooks are sold individually. What you will receive is a luxurious hook which will give you a superior crocheting experience. Furls hooks are made by master craftsmen with care and attention, and using high quality materials. The designs are backed with years of Furls' own research, and come with both a satisfaction guarantee and warranty against defects and damage. No other hook in the world can quite compare.
Stock levels seem to be low. Can't you get more?
What is in the shop at any given time depends on Furls own production and stock levels, as well as demand for stock in our shop. The supply chain for handmade hooks is slower moving than for machined goods. We order stock regularly but sometimes Furls hooks sell as quickly as they arrive. Do keep checking back, or alternatively, get in touch and we will help you get what you are looking for.
Can you order in a specific hook for me?
Yes, we are happy to! If you have a special request, send us a message.
One of my hooks is slightly different to another of the same type. Should I be concerned?
Furls hooks are made to strict specifications. The guidelines do allow slight variances within a range of measurements. This does not affect hook quality in any way. Also, with wood hooks there are natural differences in colour and wood grain. If you are concerned about a hook you have received, please do get in touch either with us. Your satisfaction is very important to OpoCrochet.
How are postal rates calculated?
Shipping rates listed are carefully chosen according to the value of the item in the listing for insurance reasons. If an item is eligible for cheaper shipping rate, choices will be listed in the shipping options. Should a better, suitable rate become available, all postage excess you have paid will promptly be refunded.
Do you have a walk in shop?
Not at this time. This helps to keep prices as low as possible. This may change in the future.
I bought a Furls hook but am struggling and would like to return it.
Furls hooks come with a 90 day satisfaction guarantee. Contact us within the first 90 days if you are struggling. You are eligible for a refund (or replacement in a different style of hook if you prefer) provided the hook is in new condition. We want you to be thrilled with your new hook and the service you receive, so do let us help if you have any problem at all.
