Shipping Policy

Shipping cost

The shipping fees shown at checkout are what Royal Mail charges for small parcels and calculated according to the value of your purchase. Items over £20 value will require a signature upon delivery. This is for postal insurance reasons.

OpoCrochet now subsidises shipping costs for larger purchases, which means you will pay the same shipping rate for someone who purchases less.

With regard to shipping express internationally, please contact us for a quote.

Should you ever be overcharged for shipping you will be refunded at time of order fulfilment.

Shipping coverage

OpoCrochet provides global shipping. If you do not see your shipping destination at checkout, please send a message for assistance.

Processing time

When you submit an order, it is OpoCrochet's policy to get it dispatched on the very same business day whenever possible. The exception is with pre-ordered or out of stock items, in which case we will be in contact.
Estimated Usual Shipping Times
  • United Kingdom: 1-2 business days
  • Europe: 3-8 business days
  • Rest of World: 5-7 working days
Delayed parcels
At certain times parcel delivery  time may be delayed due to circumstances beyond our control, for example during holidays or pandemics like COVID-19.
Shipping networks are complex and delays can happen anywhere along your parcel's route, even if mail from other areas is arriving in a timely manner. We follow the delayed/lost guidelines set out by Royal Mail which you can read here.
You can read Royal Mail's COVID-19 update page here.
For international orders, it is recommended to check your country's mail service for COVID-19 updates too.

    Customs and import taxes

There are no extra import duties for British customers as these have already been paid by OpoCrochet. Buyers in other countries are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. OpoCrochet cannot be responsible for delays due to customs.
